Start and stop an app instance at run time

When you deploy a solution that contains an app or a web part that has an app instance, you must ensure that the app instance is removed when the app is stopped or uninstalled.
If you use the default SharePoint 2013 service model for installing and uninstalling apps and web parts, you must have the following command line arguments defined when you install the app or web part.

You must also ensure that the app instance is not running when you uninstall the app or web part.
To uninstall an app, you must pass the /appinstance:uninstall parameter on the uninstall command line.

/appinstance:uninstall /appinstance:uninstall_file

To stop or start an app instance, use the /appinstance:start and /appinstance:stop parameters.

/appinstance:start | /appinstance:stop

To start and stop an app instance at run time, use the Start-SPAppInstance, Stop-SPAppInstance, and Delete-SPAppInstance cmdlets

Open the SharePoint Designer and look for the Web Part to be deployed

After you have defined the app instance parameters, you need to create the app instance that corresponds to the web part.

To do this, open the SharePoint Designer and find the Web Part to be deployed.

Click on “Open” button on ribbon and then select the Web Part from the Web Part gallery.

Native JavaScript Office File Format Plug-in

KFTP is a compact, pure-Java plug-in for the File Transfer Protocol (FTP) that aims to enable modern office file formats (Office Open XML, Office 2007) to be easily manipulated using JavaScript. It enables the user to create new files, open existing files and save them with a specific MIME type. It does not support edit operations or ZIP operations. It’s integrated into the JavaScript FileSystem API. KFTP is very small, and it’s fully compatible with Firefox and Internet Explorer 7, 8, 9, and 10.
KFTP is developed by the Eucalyptus Project, a leading open source JavaScript enterprise server solution.
The current version is 2.0.

KMEXEC – A Java Debug Interface

KMEXEC is an application that allows you to interact with the Java Virtual Machine Debug Interface (JVMDI) and thus debug Java programs. You can start a Java application using KMEXEC and then work with it to set breakpoints and make modifications. You can run code line by line, as well as step through the code. KMEXEC has support for breakpoint, exception, watch and other JVMDI debugging features. It can also provide a user interface for the debugging process, allowing the user to interact with the debugger. KMEXEC integrates with other tools from the JVMDI using a JDG protocol.
KMEXEC is not an automatic debugger, it must be used by the user to debug. When KMEXEC is used, it intercepts all Java applications in the system, and allows you to interact with any Java application. You can then set breakpoints in a running application or run the application from the beginning. – An Open Source Content Management System for the Web
