Advanced Folder Encryption is a software application built specifically for helping you encrypt files and folders, as well as delete data permanently from your computer.
The main panel reveals a well-organized set of functions that allows you to trigger most of the actions with minimal effort.
Files and folders can be added to the workspace by simply dragging and dropping them into the primary window or using the built-in browse button.
Advanced Folder Encryption gives you the possibility to encrypt files and folders by setting up passwords, pick the strength of the password (normal, high, or highest), and select the mode (local or hidden). You can view information about the encrypted items, such as ID, path, strength, mode, and status.
When it comes to deleting private information from your computer, you are allowed to build up a list the items that you want to wipe out. It offers support for batch processing, which means you can remove multiple files at the same time.
The tool makes use of the well-known sanitization algorithm, DoD 5220.22-M, in order to make sure no traces are left on your computer. The file shredding process ensures your files and folders are completely wiped out from your system, so they cannot be recovered using dedicated tools.
Other handy options
The program lets you protect your hard drive and hide it, save the decryption history log, add Encrypt and File Shredder options to the context menu, choose a special icon for the encrypted directory/file, customize the looks of the app by selecting from different themes, set up a master password, so other users cannot run and uninstall the program, as well as automatically look for updates.
All in all, Advanced Folder Encryption provides some handy features for helping you encrypt files and folders, as well as delete data permanently from your computer.
Simple to use and completely free, Advanced Folder Encryption will help you encrypt files and folders, as well as permanently delete data on your computer.

Transcribe! is a music notation program, meaning that it can be used to either type out a song for other people to play, or to play a song and type it down. This is, however, not always the case. Transcribe! also has the ability to read a song from a CD and convert it to a MIDI file, a standard file that is required for MIDI keyboards. As an added feature, Transcribe! supports uploading songs from the internet, making it easier for people to be able to download songs that they like. Transcribe! can also be used to create musical transcription sheets (scores) for other musicians to read and listen to.
In the application, there is a keyboard that has basic musical keys, as well as the ability to change the volume of the sound (represented by a yellow triangle) and the ability to play, pause and stop the song. In order to change volume, you are going to have to increase or decrease the brightness of the keys. At the bottom of the screen, there is a settings window that you can use to change the brightness and brightness of the keys.
The application can be used for a number of purposes. For example, you can type a song on your computer, copy it to a CD and then transfer that CD to an MP3 player. Another great feature of Transcribe! is the ability to play a song on a MIDI keyboard and then type that music down on your computer. This is especially useful for musicians who prefer to type music out rather than play an instrument.
You may be wondering how the music conversion of an MP3 is done, and it has to do with a feature called the “Audio Encoder” that is built into Transcribe!. This particular feature enables you to change the MP3’s sound to a WAV file, a MIDI file or an OGG file. By converting the sound into a standard file, you are able to play your MP3 file in almost any type of music player.
All of the advertisements are only seen once in the application, which is not a big deal because they are minimal in nature. One of the advertisements that can be seen is that of WAV files.
